Position Description

Spillane’s Nursery has a great opportunity for an Irrigation Service Technician who will welcome the challenges and opportunities offered by a very busy and reputable landscape company in Middleboro

Responsibilities include:-

• Service new and existing accounts
• Install new systems
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
• Provide excellent customer service and develop long-term client relationships
• Manage service calls to best accommodate customer needs
• Winterization of systems, both commercial and residential
• Maintain paperwork and historical data of run times, services, etc.

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is seeking Landscape Maintenance Laborers of different experience levels to assist us in maintaining the landscapes of our clients. This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities to participate in providing snow and ice management services during the winter.

Must have the ability to perform, and experience with, the following job functions:

Work well with multiple crews daily
Lead and assist with regular weekly mowing visits, mulching, pruning, and spring/fall cleanups
Maintain high standard of quality while maintaining safe work habits
Residential and Commercial snow and ice responsibilities

Maintenance experience, such as mowing, trimming, tree and shrub care, fertilization and seasonal cleanups

String-line trimmers

Back pack blowers

Zero-turn commercial lawn mowers

Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

Ability to effectively communicate the project objectives to your production team

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is seeking Landscape Construction Laborers who will welcome the challenges and opportunities offered by a very busy and reputable landscape company in Middleboro. This is a full-time seasonal position with Saturday work required during the busy season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities;

• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and ecologically compliant work site
• Carries out work plans and schedules established by the Landscape Construction Foreman and Project Manager
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Maintain high quality workmanship standards
• Works well with a team
• Maintains good relations with the customers at the job sites and keeps the Landscape Construction Foreman informed about customer interactions

Position Description

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape is seeking experienced mason professionals to work on our projects with knowledge in retaining walls, walkways, patios, stone veneer, blue stone and stone work. We work with both residential and commercial customers.

Must have the ability to perform, and experience with, the following job functions:

• Supervise and work with multiple crews daily
• Maintain high standard of quality while maintaining safe work habits
• Must be able to supervise, instruct, and objectively evaluate the performance of workers and subcontractors.
• Ability to understand blue prints, drawings, building codes, and other various tools and forms of communications used on landscaping job sites.
• Must have sufficient knowledge or materials, equipment operation, and tools commonly used in hardscape daily activities.

This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities to participate in providing snow and ice management services during the winter.
Must have the ability to perform, and experience with, the following job functions:

• Supervise and work with multiple crews daily.
• Maintain high standard of quality while maintaining safe work habits.
• Residential and Commercial snow and ice responsibilities
• Ability to understand blue prints, drawings, building codes, and other various tools and forms of communications used on landscaping job sites.
• Ability to run heavy equipment.
• Must have sufficient knowledge or materials, equipment operation, and tools commonly used in landscape daily activities
• Strong leadership skills as well as being able to communicate effectively with management, customers, employees, and other miscellaneous personalities that may visit the site from time to time.
• Must be a self-starting, take-charge individual with strong motivation and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to motive, train, and monitor the employees by maintaining company guidelines and insuring that these standards of performance are met at all times.
• Must be able to supervise, instruct, and objectively evaluate the performance of workers and subcontractors.
